Experience

Donaven’s dedication to team work and high standards led to 17 years with Verizon ending as a Program Manager, leading a team of project managers and analysts. Although those years were fast paced and exciting, Donaven always had that entrepreneurial calling. Over the past 20 years Donaven has also been investing in the buying and flipping and renting houses.

Education

As the oldest of four, Donaven, has an innate sense of responsibility and is driven to succeed. He began at the school of hard knocks, by pushing his Lawn-Boy mower down the street to neighboring homes when he began his first business at the age of 8. At an early age, he learned the value of understanding customer needs and wants and the advantage of “doing a job right” the first time. This work ethic carried on while he earned his bachelors degree from Indiana University, a Masters in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University and finally a Masters Certificate in Program Management from George Washington University.

Family

Donaven is the proud dad of two teenagers, a daughter Ella, and a son Donaven. They are his pride and joy. He spends his time at Watauga Lake with the love of his life, Christie and they both agree, there is no place better to live.  Christie is also a Realtor and teaches 8th Grade English at Hampton Elementary School. The entire family loves to ride bikes, hike, spend time on the golf range, shoot skeet, jet ski, boat, swim and hang out on the lake or sit out by a campfire.
